sitting on a buddi bench (pronounced ‘buddy’), with our logo on it, encourages anyone walking by to sit & chat with a stranger, share a laugh or a worry, or find comfort & care in one another
this campaign aims to raise funds so we can place a buddi bench™ in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff & Dublin
we thought we'd focus on the capitals of the UK to help build momentum
ultimately we want to place a buddi bench™ in every park in the UK that wants one
then we're going global
we like to dream big!
the full cost of each bench is around £1,500
our bespoke benches are made from solid oak of the highest-quality
sourced from sustainable forests
hand-finished by artisans
the £1,500 covers the entire placing of a buddi bench™ in a park including the:
- bench
- hand-cast steel logo sign & QR code
- transport
- marketing
- maintenance for a guaranteed 10-year period
100% of your donations go directly to providing benches
all involved are volunteers & no one receives a wage
